On December 14, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea issued Notice No. 2023-582, adding HHCH and HHCP, which are prohibited from importing into South Korea, to the "Guidelines for Designating and Lifting the import of Ingredients of overseas Food, etc.," as shown in the following table:
