According to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), on May 16, 2024, the FSANZ issued Notice 290-24, of which A1299 application, applying for Fructosyltransferase from Aspergillus oryzae Fructosyltransferase (Fructosyltransferase) as a processing aid.

The fructosyltransferase is used to produce short-chain fructooligosaccharide (sc-FOS).
