Korea set new standard specifications for nutritional formulas for patients with lung disease

On July 10, the Republic of Korea issued Notice No. 2024-35, amending part of the Codex Alimentarius. The main changes are as follows:


1. Set new standard specifications for nutritional formula food for patients with lung disease.

 

2. Modify the use standard of garcinia cambogia when used as a common food raw material: from "use less than 5%, intake shall not exceed 6 g" to "use proportion less than 2%, intake shall not exceed 2.5 g".

 

3. Modify the residue limit standards of four kinds of pesticides, such as Molinate.
