The Transitional Period Policy for Cross-border Electronic Commerce Supervision was Extended to the End of 2018!

On September 20, Premier Li Keqiang held an executive meeting of the State Council, and gave a positive evaluation on the development of cross-border electronic commerce in previous stage. It is pointed out on the meeting that taking the development of cross-border electric business as a breakthrough to promote international trade liberalization, facilitation and format innovation has great significance on accelerating the transformation of foreign trade development and enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness. The meeting called for the establishment of a new comprehensive pilot area for cross-border electronic commerce and decided that the transitional period policy for cross-border electronic commerce supervision shall be extended to the end of 2018 and speeded up the improvement of the relevant system.
