AQSIQ Publishes Notification of Relevant Batches of Infant Formula Milk Powder in the Netherlands

 Recently, according to the EU Food Feed Rapid alert System, a Dutch infant formula milk powder company found that they had used a batch of whey powder suspected of being contaminated with Enterobacter sakazakii in self-inspection, which resulted in three brands and five batches of Infant formula milk powder (see annex) has the risk of contamination with Enterobacter sakazakii, and related products have been exported to China, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and other countries. The company has already recalled or voluntarily destroyed the relevant batch of products.
 
AQSIQ attaches great importance to the event and organizes inspections after the notification. It has been ascertained that among the products covered by the EU notification, the export to China was the Rearing Baby infant formula milk powder (batch number 0000011087 and 0000011079 ) produced by Lypack (registration number NL Z0238 EC). The goods are currently in the port supervision warehouse and have not yet entered the circulation area. The inspection and quarantine agencies will handle the goods in accordance with the law; other batches of products suspected of being contaminated have not been exported to China, and domestic consumers are assured.
