On May 22, the State Administration of Market Supervision (SAMR) issued an announcement on the unqualified status of four batches of food. According to the announcement, the former CFDA organized a random sampling of 313 batches of three types of foods, including the foods for special dietary uses (FSDU), convenience foods, and infant formula foods , of which 238 batches of infant formula foods from 100 companies were all qualified. Of 58 batches of FSDU, 4 batches were rejected.
Sampling qualified products include: Nestle, Abbott, SynutraMengniu, Yili, Feihe, Sanyuan,Ausnutria, Shuangwa, Feishilan Huishan, Beingmate, Shengyuan, Junlebao, Huishan, Red Star, Banner, Red Star Beauty Ling, etc. In total, 238 batches of products from 100 companies
Unqualified product and reason (the true detection values are not consistent with labeling values):
1.Grain and vegetable nutrition rice extract from Taiwan Dixiang Biological Technology Co., Ltd. (Origin city: Taiwan), the detection value of sodium was 4.80mg/100kJ, 66.4% lower than the value of the product label (14.3mg/100kJ).
2.Fruit and vegetable extracts from Taiwan Dixiang Biological Technology Co., Ltd. (Origin: Taiwan), the detection value of fat was 0.119g/100kJ, 60.3% lower than the value of the product label (0.3g/100kJ).
3.Fruit and vegetable brown rice powder for infants and young children from Rivsea (Origin city: Taiwan), the detected value of folic acid was 3.00 μg/100kJ . 78.7% lower than the value of the product label (14.1 μg/100 kJ )
4.Buckwheat multi-grain brown rice flour for infants and young children from Rivsea (origin city: Taiwan). the detected value of folic acid was 2.54 μg/100 kJ, 46.0% lower than the value of the product label ( 4.7 μg/100 kJ)。
