According to the Regulations on the Administration of New Varieties of Food Additives, on March 6, 2019, the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center released five new food additive varieties for soliciting opinions, including nisin, calcium sulfate, sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, and dihydrogen pyrophosphate. The deadline for requesting comments for each application is 30 days from the date of publication.
Announcement of the General Administration of Market Regulation on the Issuance of Three Food Supplementary Inspection Methods, such as the Determination of Rhodamine B in Food (No. 9 of 2019)
In accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Regulations on the Work of Food Supplementary Inspection Methods", on March 6, 2019, the State Administration of Market Regulation issued three food supplement inspection methods, including the determination of Rhodamine B in food, including "Determination of Rhodmin B in food" (BJS 201905), "Determination of Benzene Residues in Edible Vegetable Oils" (BJS 201906), "Detection of sourced components of squid, oilfish and Antarctic squid in squid and its products" (BJS 201907).
