Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) organised inspections of foods (267 batches) and found out
4 batches unqualified.
4 food categories were involved, namely
edible agricultural products, fruits, foods for special dietary uses and health food.
The unqualified reasons were residues of pesticides and veterinary drugs, excessive use of food additives and substandard nutritional index issue.
