Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) organised inspections of foods (266 batches) and found out
5 batches unqualified.
2 food categories were involved, which were
edible agricultural products and infant formula.
The unqualified reasons were
pesticide contamination (involving 4 batches of edible agricultural products sold offline),
inconformity between nutrition index and labelled index (involving 1 batch of infant formula imported from Spain sold offline).
