In order to standardize food labelling and fully implement the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, Regulations on the Implementation of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations, on November 21, 2019, State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) solicited public opinions on the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Food Labels (Draft).
The deadline for opinions is December 20, 2019.
Soliciting opinions on the National Food Safety Standard Plant Protein Peptides
On November 18, 2019, the China Nutrition and Health Food Association publicly solicited opinions on the National Food Safety Standard Plant Protein Peptides. This standard applies to plant protein peptide products for food industry and is not applicable to peptide products produced from rapeseed and cottonseed.
The deadline for opinions is December 10, 2019.
