Zheng bought a bottle of ”Jiale coconut milk" (200 mL) from a supermarket in Wuhan. The label did not meet the requirements of stating “low saturated fat content”, according to GB 28050-2011 National Food Safety Standard General Rules for Nutrition Labelling of Prepackaged Foods.


The supermarket did not carry out the standard review of the sold product. The court sentenced that the supermarket should refund the purchase payment of RMB 6 to Zheng and should pay a compensation of RMB 1,000.
