According to the monthly notice of unqualified foods and cosmetics by GAC. Foodmate summarized that there are 7 batches of unqualified imported alcohol that are unqualified and weigh a total of 29.64 tons.

These unqualified alcohols include wine, brandy, whiskey and beer. Among them, whiskey is the most, with 3 batches. there are 2 batches of wine and brandy from France, and the remaining 5 batches of products are from Japan.
The main reason of rejection is failure to provide required certificates or qualified documents. There are 6 batches with this problem. In addition, there are 1 batch of products with unqualified labels.

Statistics found that the entry ports of unqualified products involved Xiamen (1 batch), Shenzhen (4 batches), and Fuzhou (2 batches).

The above-mentioned unqualified foods had been returned or destroyed at ports, according to GACC.

        6月16日，海关总署发布2020年5月全国未准入境食品化妆品信息，据食品伙伴网不完全统计，有7批次不合格进口酒类未准入境，重量共计29.64吨。
        这些未准入境的不合格酒类涉及葡萄酒、白兰地、威士忌和啤酒。其中，威士忌最多，有3批次。有2批次葡萄酒、白兰地来自法国，其余5批次产品均来自日本。
        这些酒类未准入境的原因主要为未按要求提供证书或合格证明材料，有6批次。此外，还有1批次产品检出标签不合格。
        统计发现，不合格产品的进境口岸涉及厦门、深圳、福州，分别有1批次，4批次和2批次。
        海关总署表示，这些未准入境食品均已在口岸依法做退运或销毁处理。
