The three ministries jointly issued a notice on the emergency treatment of some frozen white prawns imported from Ecuador

 
On 11 July, General Administration of Customs (GACC), National Health Commission (NHC) and State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) jointly issued a notice on the emergency treatment of some frozen white prawns imported from Ecuador.

Compared with the announcement of General Administration of Customs No. 81 on the 10th, the notice mainly added notification departments, including each provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Health Committee, and Market Supervision Bureau. It is clear that each market supervision department is responsible for supervising the distributors to stop selling immediately, sealing the frozen shrimps produced by the above three companies after March 12, and urging the distributors to cooperate with the importers to do a product recall and deal with the non-cooperation according to law and regulations. Moreover, it is clear that the people's governments of various regions joint prevention and control mechanism of the COVID-19 epidemic should be responsible for organizing the destruction of frozen shrimp that are recalled and cannot be returned.
