Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on Solicit opinions on the "Measures for the Administration of Food Business Licenses (Draft for Comment)"
On 6 Aug 2020, State Administration for Market Regulation issued the "Measures for the Administration of Food Business Licenses (Draft for Comment)" to solicit public opinions. The deadline for feedback is 6 Sep 2020.
The draft stipulate that those engaged in food sales and catering services within the territory of the People's Republic of China shall obtain a food business license in accordance with the law. They shall engage in food business activities in accordance with the items verified in the food business license.
The main revised co
ntents include simplifying the application materials for food business license, shortening the time limit for processing food business license, implementing the system of informing and promising partial license, and adding new situations without obtaining license, etc.
