Ecuador and China sign a sanitary protocol for shrimp export to China

Ecuador "Telegraph" reported on August 13, the Ecuadorian ambassador Larrea Eritrea and China General Administration of Customs Deputy Director signed a sanitary protocol for shrimp export to China. This protocol has detailed provisions on the exchange of information between the two parties and the sanitary and quarantine of the Ecuadorian shrimp, which will greatly promote the healthy development of the Ecuador-China shrimp trade.

At present, the Chinese government has restored the export qualifications of two companies (Santa Priscila and Empacreci) that were previously suspended from exporting frozen shrimp to China, and the qualification restoration of the remaining one has entered the final stage of customs clearance.

Ecuadorian President Moreno twittered on the morning of the 13th that he had properly resolved the problem of the impediment of the export of Ecuadorian shrimp with China. This will not only promote the export of more high-quality shrimp to China, but also stabilize employment in the Ecuadorian shrimp industry.
