On August 14, 2020, the National Health Commission issued an announcement of 21 kinds of "Novel foods" including protein glutaminase.According to the provisions of the Food Safety Law, the review agency organized experts to review and pass the safety evaluation materials of 5 novel food additives including protein glutaminase and 16 new food-related products including microfibrillated cellulose pulp.

        2020年8月14日，国家卫健委发布关于蛋白质谷氨酰胺酶等21种“三新食品”的公告，根据《食品安全法》规定，审评机构组织专家对蛋白质谷氨酰胺酶等5种食品添加剂新品种、微纤化纤维素纸浆等16种食品相关产品新品种的安全性评估材料审查并通过。
