Foodmate News: On August 25, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued a partial amendment to the "Laws on the Labeling and Advertising of Food". The main contents are as follows:

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of South Korea delegates some authorities to the local Food and Drug Safety Agency to improve the efficiency of business execution. The authorities include issuing instructions to seize and destroy harmful food, revoke or terminate business licenses or business permits, levy fines, and publish administrative sanctions for operators, etc.
