Russian Omsk exports the first batch of flax to China
According to Russian media report: The first container train carrying 2,000 tons of flax in Omsk departed for China on September 23.
This train is loaded with 100 containers of Omsk flax, which is the first export to China.
The train departed from Karbyshevo-1 station to Nakhodka on the evening of September 23, and then was transported to Tianjin by ocean shipping. The transportation time is approximately 2 weeks.
This transportation is based on a direct agreement signed between Russia and China. The export of large quantities of flax to China will be a trial run to familiarize yourself with the route and flow. If it can be implemented successfully, barley and wheat will be shipped to China in this way in October.
