On 13 November, the Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued Notice No. 2020-110, amending part of the "Temporary Standards and Specifications Certification Standards for Food". The main contents are as follows:

1. Adjust the review processing time limit for food additives.

2. Clearly stipulate the processing time limit and the items that can be changed.

3. Newly set the return standard when applying for certification by illegal methods.

4. Clearly stipulate the scope of materials submitted for review and compilation requirements.
