Recently, the European Commission authorising the placing on the market of dried Euglena gracilis, selenium-containing yeast (Yarrowia lipolytica) biomass, and extract from Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus as novel foods on the market, which will come into force 20 days after publication.
