On December 11, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against 2 beef company in Brazil, due to the positive nucleic acid test of COVID-19 in the outer packaging samples of each batch of frozen boneless beef products imported from a beef manufacturer in Brazil, the national customs suspended the acceptance of Brazilian beef production enterprise NATURAFRIG ALIMENTOS LTDA (registered number of SIF1811) and PLENA ALIMENTOS S/A (registered number of SIFSIF3215) import declaration for one week from Dec.11. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
