GACC | Monitor the Risk of Imported Cold Chain Food and Strengthen the Source Control

On December 11, Ni Yuefeng, director of General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), presided over the 34th regular meeting of GACC for situation analysis and work supervision. The meeting pointed out that the customs should strengthen monitoring, early warning and risk control, strictly regulate sampling and testing, strengthen coordination and information sharing with the joint prevention and control mechanism at all levels, and constantly consolidate and improve the effect of external prevention and control. The customs should continue to do a good job in monitoring the risks of imported cold chain foods, strengthen the source control, promote the strict implementation of preventive disinfection measures for imported cold chain foods, and ensure the efficiency of customs clearance at ports while effectively reducing import risks.
