Notice of Modification to the List of Permitted Food Enzymes to Enable the Use of Pectinase from Aspergillus niger in Unstandardized Fruit and Vegetable Products


On January 5, Health Canada amended the List of Food Enzymes Permitted in Table 5 (List of Food Additives Permitted) to approve the use of Pectinase from Aspergillus Niger for non-standardized fruit and vegetable products.This regulation will come into force on January 5, 2021.
