South Korea Released the "Guidelines for the Safety Management of Imported Food Distribution"
On January 14, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued the "Guidelines for the Safety Management of imported Food Distribution", providing information such as "imported Food Hygiene Management by Industry Segmentation".
The main contents include:
Hygienic management of imported food storage industry (refrigeration, freezing temperature management, isolation management of stored items, etc.);
Hygienic management of catering enterprises and collective canteens (cleaning management of workshops and kitchen utensils, personal hygiene of employees, methods of food storage, etc.);
Sanitation management of food distribution and sales companies (warehousing, storage, display sales, management of expired products);
Examples of improvements in poor sanitation, etc.
