China is still the largest importer of Russian agricultural products in 2020
According to a report on the Russian Oilworld website on December 30, 2020, data from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture showed that during the period from January 1 to December 27, 2020, the total export of Russian agricultural products was 28.96 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 18%. Among them, grain exports totaled USD 9.79 billion, a year-on-year increase of 27%; exports of oil products were USD 4.64 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19%; exports of meat and dairy products were USD 1.13 billion, a year-on-year increase of 36%; exports of food and processed agricultural products were USD 4.13 billion , A year-on-year increase of 13%; fish and aquatic products exports of US$5.2 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3%.
In 2020, China will still be the largest importer of Russian agricultural products, with imports of 3.98 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 25%. The main imported products are fish and aquatic products, with an import value of US$1.62 billion. The European Union and Turkey are the second and three largest importers of Russian agricultural products.
