According to the US Federal Register, on January 15, 2021, the US Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation 2020-28122, exempting Bacillus Thuringiensis (Bacillus Thuringiensis) Cry1Ab/Cry2Aj protein and G10evo-EPSPS (G10-evo Enolpyruvylshikimate-3-Phosphate Synthase) The protein residue limit.

According to the regulations, when the Bacillus thuringiensis Cry1Ab/Cry2Aj protein is used as a plant protection agent in corn food and feed, its residue limit is exempted. When G10evo-EPSPS protein is used as a plant protection agent in all crop foods and feeds, its residue limit is exempted.

This provision will take effect from January 15, 2021, and an objection or hearing request must be submitted before March 16, 2021.
