Recently, Foodmate summarized the food sampling inspections announced by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) in March 2021. In March, SAMR announced a total of 27 batches of food were unqualified.
Statistics show that unqualified samples involve 14 categories of foods. Among them, 5 batches of roasted nuts have been detected unqualified. The unqualified reasons include excessive acid value, excessive aflatoxin B1, and excessive coliforms.
Statistics also showed that the problems of unqualified samples were related to the detection of illegally added substances, excessive pesticide and veterinary drug residues, other chemical pollutants, biological toxins, excessive use of food additives, microbial contamination, quality indicators and non-compliance issues. Among them, there are 9 batches of unqualified problems with quality indicators such as acid value and peroxide value.
In addition, 10 batches of unqualified samples were from o
nline sales, including Taobao, JD, Tmall and Pinduoduo.
For unqualified foods found in random inspections, SAMR has instructed the relevant market supervision departments to immediately organize inspections and disposals, take measures such as removing unqualified products from shelves to co
ntrol risks. Foodmate reminds companies to pay attention to related sampling issues to avoid losses.
