On May 10, Korea Food and Drug Safety Department (MFDS) released draft amendments to the "Regulations on Inspection of imported Food", intended to modify some content:

1. Centralized inspection of pesticides with a higher frequency of unqualified occurrences.

2. Add foods with confirmed safety approved by the Minister of Food and Drugs.

3. Improve the handling process of bulk imported agricultural products from ships in advance import declaration.
