On June 26, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Russian processing vessel, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in a sample of a batch of frozen Alaska pollock from Russia. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Russian processing vessel Irtyshsk JSC "Okeanrybflot" (Registered number: CH-77G) import declaration for 1 week from June 26. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
