On June 29, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued Announcement No. 2021-54 to amend part of the Codex Alimentarius. The main contents include the revision of the general rules, food standards and specifications, heavy metal standards for edible insects, food raw material catalog, general test methods, etc.
