On July 30, 2021, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced that from July 30, 2021, the prohibition on the use of synthetic resin additives in milk and other utensils and containers and packaging in the "Food Sanitation Law" shall be repealed. That is, in the original regulations, "appliances, containers and packaging and raw materials used for containing milk, special milk, sterilized goat milk, blended milk, low-fat milk, skimmed milk, processed milk, and cream, and the parts in direct contact with the contents. In principle, the synthetic resin used should not be restricted by the requirement of additives".
