On August 7, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Thai company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 2 samples of a batch of frozen hairtail from Thailand. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Thai seafood manufacturer Supsumpow Co., Ltd. (Registered number: 1239) import declaration for 1 week from August 7. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
