On September 29, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against an Indian companies, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in a sample of a batch of frozen Penaeus vannamei from India. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Indian seafood manufacturer M/s. Baby Marine (Eastern) Exports (Unit-Ⅱ) (Registered number: 1840) import declaration for 1 week from September 29. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
