To facilitate customs clearance for other poultry products, when importing poultry and products, the attached veterinary health certificate should also include the following additional certifications:

a. Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), H5 and H7 low pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) are notifiable diseases in exporting countries.

b. According to the definition of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), poultry derived from meat have not been vaccinated with H5 and H7 subtypes of avian influenza vaccine.

c. Poultry products do not originate from a restricted area within a radius of 10 kilometers around the affected site in Stanislaus County, California.

d. Poultry from meat sources were born, raised and slaughtered in the United States, or day-old chicks legally imported from a country with the same poultry health status.
