On November 2, 2021, the Azerbaijan Food Safety Authority issued relevant requirements on the registration of food production enterprises exported to China. The main contents include:

(1) Starting from January 1, 2022, all companies that produce and process 18 types of products including meat, casings, and dairy products and intend to export to China must register with the General Administration of Customs of China. Unregistered companies will No food can be exported to China.

(2) Food companies that intend to export food to China must apply to the Azerbaijan Food Safety Bureau. After assessing that they meet the requirements, they are recommended to the General Administration of Customs of China for registration. The Chinese competent authority can conduct investigations and on-site inspections of the company. Enterprises can only export food to China after obtaining registration.

(3) For food companies exporting to China with traditional trade, the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency has submitted relevant information to China for continued export. Starting from November 1, 2021, if companies need to export food to China, they must pass the new regulations in accordance with the new regulations. China International Trade Single Window System independently applies for registration at new.singlewindow.cn.
