On November 23, Rosselkhoznadzor held a video conference with the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), Representatives of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Russian Embassy in Beijing attended the meeting.
The main topic of the dialogue was Decree No. 248 of GACC, which will come into force on January 1, 2022. The Decree regulated the registration procedures of foreign enterprises, including Russian companies that supply food to China.
China supplies Russian beef, poultry, fish, milk powder, dairy products and ice cream, honey, edible oil and many other commodities, which should meet the new enterprise registration requirements.
The two sides discussed technical issues about the registration procedures related to the Russian suppliers export to China and food safety requirements in China.
It should be noticed that for foreign meat and meat products, aquatic products and dairy products enterprises that have been registered, the registration will continue to be valid after January 1, 2022.
