On April 16, 2022, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Peruvian company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 3 samples of frozen boiled squid fillets imported from Peru. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Peruvian aquatic product company COSTA MIRA S.A.C. (Registered number: P274-PAI-CSMR) import declaration for 1 week. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
