On April 22, 2022, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Peruvian company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in a sample of frozen squid imported from Peru. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Peruvian aquatic product company FREEKO PERU S.A. (Registered number: P024-PAI-FEPR) import declaration for 1 week. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
