The Food Authority of Singapore (SFA) announced on 18 April 2022 that imports of poultry and poultry products from the vicinity of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) outbreak in the United States has been suspended.

Singapore will impose temporary restrictions on imports of poultry and poultry products within 10km of affected areas due to the highly pathogenic H5 avian influenza outbreak in 14 us counties.  Poultry products that meet the heat treatment requirements of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) for inactivation of avian influenza viruses will not be affected by the import restrictions.

Poultry exported from the affected areas below will continue to be accepted for import if they meet the slaughter and export dates.
