Serbia has adopted a decision on temporary restrictions on exports of basic agricultural products

The Serbian government  adopted a decision on April 20 concerning temporary restrictions on the export of basic agricultural products in order to deal with the risk of market turbulence caused by a significant increase in world and local demand, according to the Serbian government website.  Thus the government decided to impose quantitative restrictions on the export of wheat, wheat flour, maize, shelled seed oil and sunflower seed oil on a monthly basis and for a specified period of time.
