Thailand's first International durian train on the China-Laos Railway has arrived in China from the Port of Mohan, the Chunghwa Daily of Thailand reported on April 25. The shipment is a total of 500 tons of Chanthaburi durian fully filled in 27 containers. Minister of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives(Thailand) expressed his delight and thought it was a historical moment for China-Laos transnational transportation to open a new chapter. The special train cut its journey time by nearly half.

Although exports of Thai durian to China are mainly transported by road through Vietnam, it is still believed that a total of 500 tons of Thai durian filled with 27 containers will be transferred to the south Tower Of The China-Laos Railway International freight line transfer center, which will be successfully cleared from Mohan port on April 24, 2022, which will open up a new channel for China-Thailand international transport.
