On April 30, 2022, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Vietnamese company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in a sample of frozen Basa fish imported from Vietnam. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Vietnam aquatic product company HUNGCA 2 DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (HUNGCA 2 CO.) (Registered number: DL 801) import declaration for 1 week until May 11. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
