The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has imposed temporary restrictions on imports of poultry and poultry products from areas affected by the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) outbreak in France.
Singapore will impose temporary restrictions on imports of poultry and poultry products from The French provinces of Haute-Garonne and Haute-Vienne due to outbreaks of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza. Poultry products that meet the heat treatment requirements of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) for inactivation of avian influenza viruses will not be affected by the import restrictions.
Poultry products exported from Lot-Haute-Garonneprovince before April 13, 2022 and slaughtered before March 30, 2022 will continue to be accepted for import. Poultry products exported from Haute-Vienne before April 15, 2022 and slaughtered before April 1, 2022 will continue to be accepted for import.
