China imported 4.127 billion US dollars of aquatic and seafood products in the first quarter of 2022

According to China's customs statistics, in March, China's aquatic seafood and products imports 1.263 billion US dollars, year-on-year growth of 29.67%;  The import volume was 31,400 tons, up 21.47% year on year.  
   
In the first three months, China's total imports of aquatic and seafood products reached 4.127 billion US dollars, up 47.76% year on year.  The import volume was 937,900 tons, up 38.24% year on year.  
   
In terms of market, Ecuador, Russia, Canada, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, the United States, Norway, Chile and New Zealand ranked the top 10 countries/regions in terms of the import amount of Aquatic and Marine products in China in the first three months, accounting for 73.89% of the import amount of this product in China.  
   
In the first three months of this year, Ecuador was the most important market for China's import of aquatic products and seafood products, with an import value of 804 million US dollars, up 72.96% year on year.  In March, imports were $282 million, up 91.41 percent year on year.
