On May 18, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of Korea issued notice No. 2022-40 to amend the Food and Animal Product Safety Management Certification Standards. The main contents are as follows:  
   
1. A HACCP evaluation standard for the food transportation industry has been newly established.  
   
2. A HACCP evaluation standard for shared kitchens was newly set.  
   
3. The basis for establishing contactless certification assessment using information and communication technology (ICT) has been made.
   
4. Formulate the basis for investigation and assessment of points-deduction for enterprises violating food laws.
