The EEC（Eurasian Economic Commission） Board approved the latest list of recommended standards for the technical regulations on the safety of Fish and Aquatic Products.
 
According to the website, the standards are adopted on a voluntary basis to ensure compliance with technical regulations. The list includes 139 documents (29 newly added) and 141 sampling rules and standards (43 new) covering product testing studies and measurement methodology requirements.
 
The decision will take effect 180 days from the date of its official publication to ensure that accredited laboratories may effectively apply the criteria and methods listed above for the first time.
