Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure said on 3 August that 17 ships loaded with agricultural products are waiting to leave Ukrainian ports as Kiev is accepting applications for ships to enter its ports.
Earlier, a Sputnik news agency reporter said in a report on August 2 that the first dry cargo ship carrying Ukrainian grain passed inspection in Istanbul, and Russian representatives took part in the inspection. The Razoni is carrying 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn.
In a Facebook post, Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure said: "Applications for shipping Ukrainian agricultural products into the port are being processed simultaneously. At present, 17 vessels have been loaded and are waiting to depart."
On July 22, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations signed in Istanbul documents on the lifting of restrictions on the export of Russian products and Russian assistance in the export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizer from three ports including Odessa via the Black Sea.
