Orenburg prefecture announced the results of sampling inspection of aquatic product quality and safety in the first half of 2022

Russian Federal Bureau of Consumer Rights Protection and Public Welfare Supervision published on August 5: In the first half of 2022, the Orenburg regional branch of the Bureau conducted 244 sampling tests on enterprises operating aquatic products, and tested 267 samples for contaminants, microorganisms, parasitology, physical and chemical indicators. The results of the sampling tests are as follows:
 
2 frozen fish products: the weight of ice coat is not qualified, the weight of ice coat weights more than 5% of the total weight of the product;
 
In addition, 4% of the samples were found to be substandard, for reasons such as lack of product labels and supporting documents, and violation of storage requirements.
 
Companies that violated the rules were fined a total of 81,000 rubles and 24 batches of seafood weighing 45.2 kilograms were removed from the market.
