Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture recently issued a number of regulations on imported food

According to data from the legal database of Indonesia's Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia has recently issued a number of import related regulations, including the Amendment of Phytosanitary Measures on the import of Fresh Bulb Vegetables, Regulation on the Recommended import of Products of Plant Origin" and "Regulation on the Supervision of Food Safety of Fresh Food of Animal and Plant Origin Contaminated with Radioactive Substances imported into the Republic of Indonesia".

Among them, the Amendment of Phytosanitary Measures on the import of Fresh bulbous Vegetables amended the provisions on ports of entry for the import of fresh bulbous vegetables. The regulations will take effect on June 13, 2022. Legal ports of entry for fresh bulbous vegetables include:

(1)Pelabuhan Laut Belawan, Medan

(2)Pelabuhan Laut Tanjung Perak, Surabaya

(3)Pelabuhan Laut Soekarno-Hatta, Makassar

(4)Bandar Udara Soekarno-Hatta, Jakarta。

In addition to above ports, imported garlic may also enter from Pelabuhan Laut Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Pelabuhan Laut Tanjung Emas, Semarang port.
