According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on 1 September 2022, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2022/1443, which did not approve calcium propionate as a basic substance in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council. These Regulations shall take effect on the 20th day as of the date of promulgation.
